Finally, you're holding your baby!

The birth was intense. A lot of things were different than you had expected. You feel like you really want to talk to someone about how it all went. You feel so much love when you look at your baby, and so relieved to not be pregnant anymore!

You let your family, closest friends, and postpartum doula know that your new addition is here.

Your postpartum doula comes over the next day to help you settle in with your new baby. She hangs on your every word as you tell her all about the birth. You feel sleepy, so she turns down your covers and you hear her doing the dishes as you drift to a much needed and well-deserved nap, snuggling your baby close.
